Ontario/Vale/Nyssa Commuter Route
The Ontario/Vale/Nyssa Commuter Route service provided by SRT-Malheur Express is available to all of the general public. The Commuter Route runs Monday - Friday, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, and makes a loop through the Ontario, Vale and Nyssa areas. The Ontario/Vale/Nyssa Commuter Route connects to the City of Ontario Fixed Route allowing riders to come from Vale and Nyssa and transfer on to the City of Ontario Fixed Route. The Commuter Route and the City of Ontario Fixed Route connection stops are Westpark Plaza/Albertson's, TVCC Science Center and DHS/Harbor Freight. Stops in the Ontario area include DHS, TVCC, West Park Plaza & Witco. Vale stops include the Vale Court House, BLM & Senior Citizen Center. Stops in Nyssa include the Nyssa Sinclair, Senior Center & Chamber of Commerce.
Commuter Route Service vehicles are ADA accessible and are equipped with a ramp or lift to allow for wheelchair access. Riders with other mobility limitations or individuals who are unable to utilize the vehicle stairs may request to use the ramp/lift at any time. Drivers will assist passengers getting on and off the bus. Mobililty devices and oxygen tanks must be secured and Service Animals are always welcome. Comfort animals and pets are not allowed.
